The founder of the Taize community, Brother Roger Schutz (1905-2005) dedicated his life to reconciliation among all peoples, particularly among Christians. In recent decades the ecumenical monastery in France has become a pilgrimage site for young people from around the world. Brother Roger's vision for Christian unity, demonstrated through a lifetime that spanned the entire 20th century, continues to inspire and instruct. His writings in this collection span from 1941 to his death in 2005 and are linked to his commitment to the Taize community.
