His study is set around Jesus’ visit to Martha and Mary as recounted in the Gospel of Luke (Lk 10:38-42) and, more particularly, the puzzling response of Jesus to Martha when she complained that Mary was just sitting and listening to Jesus while she did all the work serving them some food. Jesus replied: "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her."
