Description: In a long-standing tradition, as Pope, John Paul II lead the Stations of the Cross at the Roman Colosseum each Friday of Lent. He sometimes altered the fourteen stations and added a fifteenth. Some of the traditional stations were retained, while others were dropped, and new stations added, based on Gospel events. Fr Champlin has adapted these stations to feature a short reading from one of the Gospel Passion narratives, a brief reflection and a prayer response adapted from Psalms. This faith resource is especially suited for Lenten reflection.
