Both authors believe that the source of Jesuit vitality is Jesuit spirituality. Considered as a subset of Ignatian spirituality, Jesuit spirituality is expressed not only in "Spiritual Exercises" composed by Ignatius Loyola, but also in the "Constitutions of the Society of Jesus" and in many other documents, and in the traditions and activities that have developed over the more than 450 years of the existence of the Society. Both Jesuit priest authors share the light of the Jesuit spirituality step-by-step, starting from the origins of Jesuit Spirituality, the creative tensions that fuel the energies of its adherents, up to the conclusion of finding God in all things.
