In ‘The Church is the Gospel’ Piero Coda looks to the sources of Pope Francis’ thinking. He discovers a life in which a tender love for Christ, the Church and for everyone is the driver. Francis is on the lookout for how God is with his people, then highlights it, follows it and helps others to do so.
This book is part of a collection of eleven easy volumes on Pope Francis' theology. These are written in a captivating yet rigorous way showing the deep roots of Pope Francis’ thought and action.
The collection calling upon the expertise of eleven theologians from various countries aims at showing us what theology is at the base of such incisive words and such simple gestures with which Pope Francis has made us so familiar.
